Mala Bašta - Sarajevo

entrance
Mala Bašta is the name of a restaurant in Sarajevo. For that restaurant I have nothing other to say then good. We had dinner there on the first evening our stay in this beautiful city. I don't want to recount our orders of food and beverages, the pictures will show what's not said, but certainly I can say that we enjoyed every moment we spent there starting from the aperitive, appetizers, dishes, excellent wine Žilavka, to desserts.

To get such a good, positive impression of the restaurant the most important is the excellent staff that works there: one which prepares meals (for prepared meals I have only words of praise, delicious, tasty, just you want more), as well as one that served in the restaurant (whenever we thought we needed anything, the waiter was there).
Highly recommend!

Hotel Europe - Sarajevo

Hotel Europe
This has been a long hot summer. The only thing I was able to do was to lounge around and enjoy the sun, everything else was surviving the terrible heat. I haven't written anything for a long time, so I would like to start with reviews on restaurants and hotels I was on my last two trips.

I was offered to visit Sarajevo for three days in August and of course I couldn't miss it for anything.

room
I was situated in the Hotel Europe in the center of the city. I've got only nice words for this hotel, the spacius, clean, tidy rooms and bathrooms, reception staff and staff who look after the cleanliness of the rooms is very good. On the ground floor of the hotel, next to the reception, is a restaurant for breakfast and some other events, shoes shops and ......

bathroom

hotel terrace
Outside of the hotel there's a nice terrace. But the most of all I liked hotel's coffee shop. The real Viennese cafe where they serve true Bosnian coffee and pastries of all kinds, but I'd recommend Tufahija as the original Bosnian sweet specialty. I'll put pictures so you can see for yourself.

I recommend this hotel.

Kravice

Kravice is a waterfall on the Trebizat River in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a place 10 kilometers of city Ljubuski and about 40 kilometers of old city Mostar. Kravice is a popular swimming and picnic area and, during the summer, it is frequently visited by tourists from Mostar, Međugorje and Dubrovnik. The Kravice Falls area also has a little cafe, a rope swing, a picnic area. The best time of year for visiting is during the springtime when the fall is at its fullest and the arid landscape turns a bright green.

However this is a place where I enjoyed. This is a time of great water and the sound of water falling in such large quantities relaxed me and sprinkling of water dust cleared me. I felt reborn. This is a little paradise. I recommend!

Herceg Ethno Village Međugorje

Not far from Međugorje there is Herceg Ethno Village. It's a tourist complex opened at the end of 2008. This is the place where you can find authentic Herzegovinian villages homes, homes are actually apartments for hire. The place looks idyllic, they have thought of everything when they were building this place. This village like any other village has a chapel, a barn, a small amphitheater in which a variety of events are held, a small lake, shops and stores that show skills of traditional crafts. The restaurant Herceg is the center of this complex. At the restaurant you can eat well and the service is very good.
Altogether one Herceg EthnoVillage isa beautiful place filled with positive energy. Here's a link if you want to find out more!

Međugorje

Saint James Church
Međugorje is a town located in the Herzegovina region of western Bosnia and Herzegovina close to the border of Croatia. Since 1981. it has become a popular site of religious pilgrimage due to reports of apparitions of the Virgin Mary to local Catholic children. The name Međugorje literally means "between mountains". The town consists of an ethnically homogeneous Croat population of over 4000. The Roman Catholic parish consists of five neighboring villages: Međugorje, Bijakovići, Vionica, Miletina and Šurmanci.

On June 24th 1981. two young girls reported seeing an apparition of the Virgin Mary in a village.
The following day another vision was reported, this time also by four other children. The children claim that they saw an apparition on the hill Crnica and that the alleged apparition was a white form with a child in her arms. Surprised and scared, they did not approach. The next day at the same time four of the youths returned and joined by the other two. For several years the six visionaries reported seeing daily apparitions from the Virgin Mary and Međugorje became crowded with pilgrims although Vatican hasn't recognized apparition of Our Lady in Međugorje yet. For those who require a miracle they might find it there, while for ordinary people like me, peace is guaranteed. Come, see and experience, I recommend!
