This is YouTube recording performance of hymn at the opening in 2009th.

Last night, 63rd Dubrovnik Summer Festival was opened. The most beautiful moment of each opening ceremony every year is performance of hymn of liberty written by Ivan Gundulic famous Dubrovnik's writer. Music wrote the famous Croatian composer Jakov Gotovac.
This is the most beautiful hymn ever written!

Translation of the text as much as possible:

Oh beautiful, oh dear, oh sweet liberty,
The Gift Which all treasures in God Almighty gave us,
The cause of the truth of all our glory,
The only adornment of Dubrava this.
All the silver, all the gold, all the human lives
Can not repay thy pure beauty!
