International opera festival "Hommage Tino Pattiera"
International opera festival named "Hommage Tino Pattiera" from 03rd to 06th July 2013th was held in Dubrovnik. Many interpreters that performed this and previous years are prominent members of the European opera houses, professors at music academies and universities. The festival is named after Tino Pattiera who was one of the best and most popular opera singers in Europe. Born 1890th in Cavtat (a small town near Dubrovnik) where he died 1966th year. He was the lead singer of the Royal Saxon Court Opera in Dresden and at that time a major competitor to Italian tenor Enrico Caruso.
During the three nights of the festival, we had the opportunity to hear superb performances.
The last evening of the festival was dedicated to the master of the opera Giuseppe Verdi on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of his birth.
Performers were Symphony Orchestra Albanian National Theatre of Opera and Ballet, conductors Noorman Widjaja Mo, Mo Zhani Ciko and Mo Nikolai Žličar.
It was unforgettable!
