Chickpeas


This is a very simple dish and I love it the most. I cook it every Friday and can't wait another and eat it again, yummy.

Here's my recipe which I inherited from my grandmother and mother.

- Soak the chickpeas in lukewarm salted water for several hours (maybe about 6 hours)
- Cook in the same water in which it was sunk
- When it boils throw the first water, rinsed chickpeas, change the water and then put chickpeas in
it to cook again
- Add onion, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, olive oil, carrots, sodium bicarbonate (tip of knife), one vegetable cube and potatoes.

If it's too watery put a little millet to become denser. And vuolla!
