THE GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR by Nikolai Gogol on Dubrovnik's Summer Festival

In the beautiful area located under the fort Minčeta Gogol's "The government inspector" was held at the Dubrovnik summer festival for the first time ever.
I can't say that I am particularly delighted with the play although the actors have done properly their roles, the director has done a good job. Nevertheless we've had a wonderful evening thanks to the atmosphere of this truly unique city.

The auditor is a comedy Russian-Ukrainian playwright and novelist Nikolai Gogol, published 1836th and revised edition of the 1842nd year. Based on an anecdote allegedly told Pushkin Gogol, this work belongs to the genre of comedy of errors, and displays human greed, stupidity and vast corruption in Imperial Russia.
